Impacts of traffic flows filtration at signalized intersections on capacity of priority intersections
Results of simulation studies on impacts of traffic flows filtration at signalized intersections on capacity of nearby priority intersections. The general description of analytical model of approach capacity calculations taking into account impacts of traffic flow filtering by traffic signals adjustment is described. The model description is supplemented by examples of evaluation of model sensitivity on changes of its parameters recommended for practical applications.
