Transport demands and means of satisfying them on the regional air transport market in Poland
Abstract: Changing the conditions for the functioning and development of air transport requires constant monitoring of passenger needs and their transport requirements in relation to air services. This is particularly important for competitive processes in the inter- and intra-industry market. The analysis of the transport postulates forces the adjustment of the offer addressed to travelers. These expectations may be different for selected travel segments. The main aim of the article is to analyze transport requirements and to present means of satisfying them in the regional air transport market in Poland. This market has been analyzed due to the large share of regional transport in the overall structure of air transport. The analysis of transport postulates was conducted for all regional connections and for travel with traditional and low cost carriers, as well as in the business travel and tourism segment and for direct and indirect connections.

Mobility plans for workplaces as a tool for mobility management in cities
Abstract: Mobility management aims to change preferences related to the way people travel. Many European documents point this direction to congested cities and solving the problem of transport congestion is considered as a challenge. In order to be effective in this area, it is essential to change the approach to sustainable development in cities. One of the tools to change this approach is to develop mobility plans for workplaces. They are attractive since are relatively inexpensive and can contribute significantly to dealing with the problem of traffic congestion and air pollution. The article presents the different components of the mobility plan (analytical, design, binding, evaluative) and examples of activities planned for workplaces. Also examples of indicators for monitoring the level of implementation of planned measures (product indicators) and the basics set of the mobility plan assessment indicators are presented.

Sustainable Development of Transport in Cities and Quality of Life
Abstract: Transportation in cities is determined by transport policy implemented in cities. This article is based on the thesis that sustainable transport policy is able to raise objectively and subjectively considered life quality . The article discusses the quality of life as a city resource. Subsequently, the quality of life in urban areas under conditions of domination of passenger cars in urban journeys was analyzed. Next the directions for the development of urban transport systems consistent with the idea of sustainable development were presented, focusing on the future of electric buses, electric cars and autonomous vehicles, joint use of passenger cars in the light of the sharing economy and cycling as a means of urban transport. The study is summarized with the conclusions.
